"This is a newly renovated facade of a casino in Mauritius. The client’s objective was to highlight this facade by projecting an amazing light.
The place was a little remote from the main road and the challenge was to make this facade visible from a hundred meters to improve the visibility of the casino and, in a second step, the enhancement of this "decorative painting”. Performing this exercise with Studio Due lighting fixtures was a no-brainer thanks to their resistance to Mauritius' cyclonic weather, build quality and performances.
The project was carried out by Francesco Martinelli from Studio Due Technical Department. In order to achieve the most homogeneous rendering on this facade 20x10 mts high, we decided to place 30x Compactbar RGBWA 100mm far from the bottom and the top of the building. Following this study, a custom metal structure was set up to host the projectors at a distance of 400mm from the wall, painted with the same Ral of the Compactbar.
The result is impressive, the desidered lumens are present, homogeneity is there, a dynamic programming to attract attention, a great "wow effect".
A phase 2 on another side of the building is expected in a few months"
